iMemories
iMemories converts old VHS tapes, 8mm film, photo negatives and other archaic types of media into digital files that can be streamed and shared in the cloud. It’s a technology company, but our work with the brand tells a story built on generations of emotions and the joy of reliving life’s best moments over and over with loved ones.
Objective
Words like “cloud,” “app,” and “send us your one-of-a-kind family footage so we can put it on your phone!” can be scary to hear for the majority of iMemories’ older audience. Our challenge was to gently introduce the wizardry behind the tech one piece at a time, while increasing sales through seasonally-timed promos.
Outcomes
iMemories continues to be the leader in the digitization space, with over one million families having ordered through the service. We’ve produced a new website, dozens of monthly promotional emails and social posts, and an app, part of our ever-growing partnership with the brand.
Website design & strategy
The fully-responsive iMemories site is information dense, but storytelling rich. We communicate the benefits of the service using terminology and imagery that’s audience-friendly, walking visitors down their own memory lanes as they discover all that iMemories has to offer.

Email marketing
We have crafted hundreds of seasonal emails, new service announcements, and themed promos that hone in on specific audience segments. Our cadence considers the full funnel from new customers to lapsed, and our tone and design reflects our thoughtful approach to the brand.
Apple TV app
iMemories customers are able to stream their digitized home movies and photos directly to their Apple TV. We designed the app experience customers see when they log in for a new kind of family movie night.
Instagram & Facebook marketing
Our social ads on Facebook and Instagram continue the story of iMemories through simple, clean visuals that show the full capabilities of this unique service.
TikTok promotions
We partnered with the iMemories animation team to design, write, and direct 30 second TikTok promotions that bring the iMemories brand to life. Each short video showcases the joy of rediscovering forgotten family movies and photos.
